The most romantic day of the year is almost here and not all women are lucky enough to be in a serious relationship to spend the day or evening with that special someone. Some are in fact luckier to plan and look forward to a fun-filled casual date on Valentine’s Day.
For couples who are not committed yet but just getting to know each other by dating, Valentine’s Day could be loads of fun and quite special in some cases too since this day is considered perfect to pop the most awaited question!
However, for a fun-filled and not-so-romantic Valentine’s Day too a woman needs to dress right. Tunics, tunic tops or tunic dresses seem ideal for the occasion as these are casual and not dressy. Quite predictably, red tunics would be a perfect pick.
Choose a tunic or Designer Kurti in a shade of red that best suits the skin tone. A flared red tunic or red Designer Kurti would look awesome with a pair of leggings or slim fit jeans. Though skinny jeans and slim fit jeans were a fashion staple these few years, this denim trend isn’t that hot as it used to be.
This year it’s the revival of all things 70’s which means the bell bottoms, wide leg pants and flares are back. Pair a fitted red Designer Kurti with a pair of flared jeans for that retro and classic look.
Designer Indian Kurtis featuring embroidered necklines or a hint of embellishments such as beads, sequins, etc are perfect since they are neither plain and drab nor too gorgeous. Accessorize it with a pair of hoops, danglers or drop earrings and a lovely bracelet.
To add a feminine touch to this retro look, carry along a stole for those crispy cool evenings. Alternatively, a vintage style knit or crochet stole, shawl, wrap or shrug adds a touch of boho chic.
